What Antenatal Class should I do?

written by |

You’ve got those two pink lines and alongside feeling overjoyed, the overwhelm is also hitting! How shall I tell friends and family our news? What do I need to buy for baby? What is birth going to be like?! This is where you should be thinking about what antenatal class should I do!

The Bump to Baby Chapter run award-winning antenatal classes both online and in-person.

Let’s start with our in-person classes…

Our in-person antenatal classes run in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester and Cirencester. The classes are both midwife developed AND midwife run, meaning you always get the most up-to-date evidence-based information. All of our midwives deliver babies as their day job and so you are getting their real world knowledge and expertise.

The classes run over 4 weeks and cover a labour overview, coping strategies for labour, caesarean birth and other interventions, induction of labour, breast feeding and bottle feeding, safe sleep, bathing baby and so much more.

Onto our online classes…

The Birth Chapter is my online course that gives you bitesize “lessons” with me, Beth Kitt – NHS midwife and mum of four. The course covers all the antenatal education you need, along with hypnobirthing techniques for labour and biometrics which is all about getting baby in the perfect position for birth. The course is designed to give you everything you need to stack the odds in your favour for an amazing birth.

What antenatal class should I do?

When deciding “what antenatal class should I do” it can be really tough. This really is down to personal preference. I have jam packed my antenatal classes with all the information you need to get calm, confident and ready for birth. The Birth Chapter online is the most affordable option, for you to do in your own time from the comfort of your own home. You get access to our exclusive Facebook group so you will have the opportunity to make friends with other expectant mums.

The Antenatal Classes are in-person, allowing you to meet other expectant parents who are due the same month as you. They also allow you additional face-to-face time with a midwife to ask any questions that may come up from the classes. Another benefit of the in-person classes is that I gift you The Birth Chapter online so you get all the extra nuggets of wisdom within that to accompany your classes. That’s the antenatal education, hypnobirthing AND biometrics of birth.
